Head Inside Single Leg Kimura Trap

This is the move that started it all for me. The creation of the Kimura Trap System was started with this technique. It is the first entry point into the system that I teach for good reason. It is a very common situation to encounter, and the execution is simple. Yet, I see this done incorrectly quite a bit, even by advanced black belts. So I highlight the key details of hitting the Kimura Trap here. For the veterans of the game, you will recognize that this is a sumi gaeshi with a Kimura Grip. Upon finishing the sweep, you will end up in the TV position, which puts you in prime position to begin attacking all sorts of submissions.
