When your opponent stifles your Kimura attacks by keeping his arm tight to his body, then we can simply divert his attention by passing his guard while pinning his wrist. In MMA, this position is a triple threat: submission, guard pass, and striking. Plus, the longer you hold this position, the more drained your opponent will be as they carry your weight the entire time.
The key to being successful here is to switch to different threats every time they defend, keeping them constantly guessing where you are going next, and frustrating them as they play pure defense while you get to pour on the pressure.
