No AccessI have short, thick legs, so triangle chokes are not a strong point in my game. But I do love the side triangle! It is very simple to setup from the TV position, and once you have it locked up, it is very difficult to escape. I like to think of it like a front headlock, but using your legs instead of your arms. Plus, you have the Kimura controlling his other arm, so your opponent his no hands free to defend themselves with, and their legs are too far away to help. We can finish the choke, a modified Kimura, or a wrist lock from the side triangle. Or, we can get to top position, which allows us to attack the choke, the Kimura, the figure four arm lock, or the spear of destiny, a viscous fist choke.
