No AccessSometimes the pummeling battle ends up in a stalemate, with neither fighter being able to secure a body lock. What then? As I mentioned before, we have plenty of take down options from the over under. Perhaps one of the simplest ones is the front trip. We simply turn their upper body in one direction, spinning our hips away from them as we trip the far leg. What's great about this is there is no cost for failure. You just miss the take down. This also allows you to go back and forth attempting to trip the other leg, which works even better in succession. Finally, it is likely to stumble your opponent, which can lead to setting up other take downs or strikes.
