Sometimes your frame might have a hard time getting reestablished, particularly if they are really top heavy and pressing into you. That's when a well timed Knee Lever sweep can pay dividends.
The Knee Lever is a simple sweep that involves trapping your opponent's knee in your half guard, ideally having it on the ground. You are then using use knees to turn hard to the trapped knee, as you use your over hook arm to trap their posting arm, and your free hand to push against their hips.
You don't need to bridge to make this work, although it can sometimes help if their weight is sitting back to far as the hip bump will get their weight forward. Normally if their weight is back, then they aren't very tight with you, and you can likely just pummel in the cross face side and get your frames back.
