No AccessThe Reverse Kimura can also be used from Top Half Guard. This is a position most people are used to conventional Kimuras, but not reverse Kimuras. By using the Reverse Kimura to literally trap his top arm, you remove his best attacker out of the equation. There are some nice options here that I tease in this video, such as setting up a Darce Choke, going for a leg lock, or back stepping and then knee cutting back to the pass. My favorite is the leg lock, as his best defending arm is trapped and he really can’t do anything to prevent the leg lock setup from happening.
